EDITORIAL STANDARD

Editorial policy for dermatology treatment and clinic guides

DermaFocus starts with a treatment question and connects information guides, condition-based clinic guides and FAQ answers through one visible evidence flow.

ONE QUESTION, ONE EVIDENCE FLOW

One question moves through three connected stages

The comparison criteria and the reasons used to review a clinic should trace back to the same original sources.

  1. 01Information guide

Explains a treatment and its comparison criteria without naming clinics.

  2. 02Clinic guide

Reviews candidates and conditional selections using the same published criteria.

  3. 03FAQ answer

Connects a representative search question to the completed information guide.

PAGE ROLE

Each page has one clear job

Readers see the information needed for the current decision without mixing every claim onto one page.

PageWhat the reader checksClinics and reviews
Information guide

Method, differences, price conditions and consultation criteria

No clinic names. Public clinic strengths may inform the comparison criteria only.

Clinic guide

Candidates for the same area and procedure, public evidence and conditional selections

Clinic names and platform figures may be shown only with scope and verification dates.

FAQ

Real search questions and the first criteria to understand

Published answers connect directly to the matching section of a full guide.

EDITORIAL PRINCIPLES

Six standards guide every recommendation page

We decide what can be supported, how far it applies and what remains unknown before deciding what to say.

01 SOURCES

Show the original source and verification date for each claim

Clinic statements are identified as clinic-published information and kept separate from facts checked in public-agency or manufacturer sources. Search snippets and third-party summaries are not copied as evidence.

02 COMPARISON

Compare only the same units and conditions

Shots, cc, tips, thread count, surgical scope and treatment area are not mixed. If inclusions or price conditions differ, they are shown separately.

03 REVIEWS

Reviews do not prove outcomes

Platform counts and non-outcome experience themes may be shown with a source and date. They are not scored as evidence of clinician skill, safety or treatment results.

04 UNCERTAINTY

Keep unverified and conflicting information visible

Pain, recovery, adverse effects and additional costs are not hidden. An unverified item is not converted into zero or presented as unavailable.

05 SCOPE

Separate clinic, branch and procedure claims

A clinic-wide statement is not extended to every branch or procedure. Clinician, device, price and guidance claims stay attached to the scope actually verified.

06 CORRECTIONS

Keep a record of changes and corrections

When a source changes, the previous statement, new evidence, date and effect on the guide are recorded. We use a verification date and action, not vague terms such as “recent.”

PUBLISHING CHECK

Only content that passes these checks is connected

Before release, we confirm that information and clinic guides point to the same evidence.

  • The search question, required conditions and exclusions are documented.
  • Official source URLs and verification dates are linked by clinic, branch and procedure.
  • Clinician, device, unit, price conditions and safety guidance use comparable fields.
  • Reviews are not converted into scores for medical skill or outcomes.
  • Unverified items, source conflicts and relationships remain visible.
  • The visible FAQ answer and structured data use the same source.
