We compiled 1,444 Gangnam Unni and Babitalk Botox reviews with dosage expressions. The capacity was the highest for masseter, trapezius, and calf, and even for the same area, the units received were up to twice as different, and for different products, the same units were not the same amount.
- masseter was 31% (106 cases) for 50U, 63% (215 cases) for 100U, and the average was 83.7U. The positive-review rate for 100U reviews was 75% (59 out of 79) and 63% (27 out of 43) for 50U.
- Trapezius received an average of 195U (100 cases), and calf received an average of 250U (79 cases), much more than masseters. For trapezius, 41% received 200U, for calf, 47% received 200U, and 46% received over 300U.

Although 76% of the 418 reviews about the effect said it was good, 96% of the reviews were written within one month after the procedure, so it is impossible to know from the reviews how long the effect lasts.
What unit of Botox dosage is used, and is the amount the same for different products?
Botox doses are written in units (U), and the power of units is different for each product, so even the same 50U cannot be considered the same amount as other products. In a study comparing 224 people with wrinkles between the eyebrows, Onabotulinumtoxin 20U and Incobotulinumtoxin 30U had similar response rates of 96% and 95% at 28 days, and the researchers concluded that there is no fixed conversion ratio in units between products.
So, in this article, we will show the distribution of units in the same area, but if the products are different, we will not use comparative numbers. SkinBotox has many reviews written in cc rather than units, so we organized them separately.

What areas are most often mentioned in Botox reviews?
The masseter was the most common with 559 cases, followed by the forehead with 324 cases, the forehead with 295 cases, the trapezius with 124 cases, the skin Botox with 119 cases, and the calf with 103 cases. If there were multiple parts in a review, each part was counted.

Although there are reviews on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes, there are not many reviews written in units, so they are not distributed. This area varies from 10U to 50U in each clinic guide, so I did not use it as a comparative number in this article.

Of the 341 reviews using masseter units, 215 (63%) were 100U, 106 (31%) were 50U, and the average was 83.7U. 15 (4%) were 51U to 99U, and 4 (1%) were 150U or more.

In terms of masseter reviews, out of 201 reviews, 77% (154) said the effect was good, and 9% (12 out of 133) said it was quite painful. It took an average of 11.9 days (46 cases) for the effect to appear. 87 out of 258 (34%) were first-time reviews, so there were more reviews about retreatment.
In a randomized trial (Hong et al., 2021) in which 90 people with masseter muscle hypertrophy were divided into 24U, 48U, 72U, and 96U, muscle thickness was reduced in proportion to the dose, and the researchers considered 48U to 72U as the appropriate dose. In an 80-person Botulex trial (Lee et al., 2024), the 12-week muscle thickness change was 2.33 mm for 24U, 3.35 mm for 48U, 2.86 mm for 72U, and 3.79 mm for 96U, and concluded that a minimum dose of 48U was more cost-effective than a higher dose. The 50U and 100U of the latter overlap with the dosage range of this study, but since the study was a test of one specific product, the conditions are not the same as the product composition of the latter.

The amount of reviews for both trapezius and calf was more than twice that of masseter (average 61,000 won, 274 reviews). There were 14 cases of salivary gland, so only the average was recorded.

A review by researchers at Soonchunhyang University Gumi Hospital (Wee et al., 2022) concluded that repeated injections can reduce the effect by causing an immune response and that complex proteins are related to the formation of neutralizing antibodies, and a survey of 128 Asia Pacific doctors at Oracle Dermatology (Park et al., 2022) suggested starting with a high-purity formulation and particularly recommending repeated, high-dose injections, with a treatment pause of 2 to 2.5 years. There is no data to confirm this in the reviews, so we do not show it as a percentage of reviews.

Gangnam Unni sale price includes VAT and is the lowest price per hospital. First visits, experiences, events, and package products were excluded, and configurations with less than three locations were not averaged. Even for the same 50U, the price range was large depending on the product and event conditions.
The average amount written in the reviews was about 68,000 won (123 reviews) for masseter 100U, 44,000 won (66 articles) for 50U, 154,000 won (61 articles) for trapezius, and 161,000 won (49 articles) for calf. The review price is the payment amount written on the platform, so it is a mix of products and concurrent procedures and is not the same standard as the hospital's published price.
Where did DermaFocus have a high positive-review rate in Botox reviews?
Based on reviews, the areas with the highest positive-review rates were calf (79%), masseter (77%), Botox (77%), and trapezius (76%), all of which were higher than the forehead (67%) and between the eyebrows (71%). There were few reviews using units for the forehead and between the eyebrows, so we did not compare dosages.
